Mühldorf; this is the first documentary evidence for the existence of
Mühldorf.

King Henry VI bestows the right to
establish a salt depository "in burgo suo muldorf" on Archbishop Adalbert II
von Salzburg.

Mühldorf is called "civitas"
(town) for the first time.

Decisive battle between Ludwig the
Bavarian and Friedrich the Beautiful of Austria in a field near Mühldorf
for the crown of the empire. The last significant battle of knights of the
Middle Ages without fire weapons.

The Bavarians lay siege to
Mühldorf in vain. First documentary evidence of fire weapons.

Councillor Niclas Grill has
historical news entered into the town charter, one of the first chronicles in

new by-laws (Stadtordnung) for Mühldorf. A provincial synod is held in
